Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to bookings made directly with Terralong Terrace Apartments. By confirming a reservation, the person making the booking agrees to these conditions on behalf of all guests included in the reservation.
Bookings made through a third-party booking platform may also be subject to that platform’s terms and conditions.
Bookings and payment
All reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received.
- Bookings made 15 or more days before arrival require a deposit equal to the first night’s accommodation.
- Bookings made within 14 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
- For bookings made 15 or more days before arrival, the remaining balance is due 14 days before arrival.
- An automatic payment request will be sent by email.
- Credit card payments are processed securely through Windcave.
- Bank transfer may be available by prior arrangement for bookings made sufficiently far in advance.
Card surcharge
A 1.5% surcharge applies to Visa, Mastercard and American Express card payments.
Any applicable surcharge will be disclosed before payment is completed and will not exceed the permitted cost of accepting that payment method.
Card surcharge arrangements may change where required by law or applicable card-scheme rules.
Cancellations and refunds
For standard dates:
- Cancellations made at least seven days before arrival receive a full refund, including any deposit paid.
- Payments are non-refundable when cancellation is requested fewer than seven days before arrival, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
For peak periods:
- Cancellations made at least 14 days before arrival receive a full refund, including any deposit paid.
- Payments are non-refundable when cancellation is requested fewer than 14 days before arrival, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Peak periods are 24 December to 27 January inclusive, the Easter long weekend and NSW public-holiday long weekends.
Cancellation requests must be submitted through our Cancellation Form.
Changes to bookings
We will assist with requests to change booking dates where possible.
Changes are subject to availability, current rates, minimum-stay requirements and the cancellation conditions applying to the reservation.
A requested change is not confirmed until it has been accepted by Terralong Terrace Apartments in writing.
Check-in and check-out
- Check-in is available from 2.00 pm.
- Check-out is required by 10.00 am.
- Self-check-in instructions will be provided before arrival.
- Requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Guest numbers and occupancy
The number of guests staying in an apartment must not exceed the occupancy confirmed in the reservation.
The person responsible for the booking must be at least 18 years old and must stay at the property for the duration of the reservation.
Children of all ages are welcome. Guests aged 18 years and over are counted as adults when determining occupancy and rates.
The correct number of adults and children, including the ages of children, must be entered when booking.
Cots, sofa beds and additional guests
Cots are available for children aged two years and under, subject to availability. A fee of A$30 per stay applies.
Some apartment types may accommodate an additional guest using a sofa bed. Sofa-bed availability, maximum occupancy and any applicable fee must be confirmed before arrival.
Rollaway beds are not available.
All cots and sofa-bed arrangements are subject to the capacity of the apartment selected and must be requested in advance.
Minimum stays
Minimum-stay requirements may apply during weekends, holidays, events and other high-demand periods.
Any minimum stay applying to the selected dates will be displayed during the booking process.
House rules
To protect the comfort and safety of guests, residents and neighbours:
- Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside apartments or enclosed common areas.
- Parties, events, hens’ nights, bucks’ nights and similar gatherings are not permitted.
- Quiet hours apply from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Guests must not cause unreasonable noise, disruption or interference with other guests, residents or neighbours.
- Guests are responsible for the conduct of all visitors associated with their booking.
- Terralong Terrace Apartments may require guests or visitors who seriously or repeatedly breach these conditions to leave the property, subject to applicable law.
Damage, loss and additional cleaning
Guests are responsible for damage, loss or excessive cleaning caused by themselves, members of their group or their visitors, excluding reasonable wear and tear.
Terralong Terrace Apartments reserves the right to recover reasonable costs arising from:
- Damage to an apartment, its contents or common property
- Missing or removed items
- Excessive cleaning
- Lost keys, remotes or access devices
- Unauthorised guests or occupancy beyond the confirmed limit
- Breaches of the property’s house rules
Guests will be notified of the reason for, and amount of, any proposed charge or claim.
Apartment photographs and allocation
Apartment photographs show examples of the accommodation available within each apartment category.
Individual layouts, furniture, décor, outlook, finishes and flooring may vary between apartments within the same category.
Terralong Terrace Apartments will provide the apartment category and core facilities confirmed in the reservation.
Requests for a particular apartment, floor, location, bedding configuration or outlook will be considered but cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
Facilities and interruptions
Guests must use the apartments, pool, parking areas and shared facilities responsibly and in accordance with displayed instructions.
Temporary interruptions to utilities, internet access or shared facilities may occasionally occur because of maintenance, weather, external service providers or circumstances beyond the property’s reasonable control.
Terralong Terrace Apartments will take reasonable steps to restore affected services or provide assistance where possible.
NSW short-term accommodation requirements
Guests must comply with applicable laws, property rules and relevant requirements of the NSW Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry.
Guests must not interfere with the peace and comfort of neighbours, damage property or common areas, or use the accommodation for unlawful purposes.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
